Lesson 5c: Skipping forward and backward by Page.
Steps:
1.
Pause a Daisy Formatted CD.
2.
Press and HOLD DOWN the Pause Key.
3.
Release the Pause Key.
4.
Resume Reading from the new location.
How: See Lesson 5b – Steps 1 and 2.
How: The Pause Key can be found on the keypad
at the Bottom/Right corner (if the keypad
cord is pointing away from you). The
Pause Key has a raised pair of vertical lines
on it that you can feel. Press it completely
down and HOLD. In approximately 5
seconds you will begin to hear numbers.
Each number that you hear represents the
page number to which you have fast-
forwarded.
How: Once you have heard the page number that
you wanted to fast-forward to, simple
release the Pause Key.
How: Pressing the Pause Key, again, and quickly
releasing the key will resume the reading of
the Daisy Formatted CD at the new point
on the document that you have navigated
to. The Pause Key can be found on the
keypad at the Bottom/Right corner (if the
keypad cord is pointing away from you).
