Troubleshooting
Issue Possible causes Recommended solution
Not working when pressing the
on-off switch. No electricity Check the electricity supply
On-off switch defective Have on-off switch replaced
by an approved after-sales
service team.
Sanding sleeve is not turning with
the sanding drum. Spindle nut is not tight enough. Gradually tighten spindle
nut until the sanding drum
and the sanding sleeve are
fastened.
The sanding belt changes height
during operation. Band strip is set up incorrectly See ‘Assembly’ section
High dust formation Dust extractor is blocked Turn off the device and disconnect
it from power supply.
Incorrect table insert in use Use a table insert that is the
correct size.
Sanding drum is not running at
full speed or unusual sounds from
motor. Motor is overheating Turn off device and leave to cool
for 30 minutes.
Motor defective Contact an approved after-sales
service provider.
