Operating Safety Instructions
•
Do not use the pump until you have read the manual.
•
Observe any safety instructions contained in the manual.
•
Be responsible to the others.
Best possible conditions:
Put the pump in a fine mesh basket or a bucket in order to catch the dirt rough particles and bigger
objects.
13.3
Step-by-Step Instructions
•
Connect the water hose to respective outlet of the pump (cf. Assembly and First Putting in Operation)
•
Fix a rope, chain or similar to the pump handle and place the pump correctly.
•
Put the pump askew in the medium to be pumped. Make sure that the float switch is in the working position.
•
Plug in the pump.
•
After completion of the job, wash the pump out with clean water.

Troubles – Causes- Troubleshooting
WARNING: ALWAYS CHECK THE OVEHEATING FUSES FIRST !
Störung
Ursache
Behebung
Pump going out for
overheating
(motor safety cut-out)
Water level too low.
Suction parts clogged, foreign matters in the
pump, rotor got jammed.
Excessive temperature of the fluid to be pumped,
in continuous operation, it should not be above
+35'C.
Submerge the pump lower.
Check and clean.
Lower the fluid temperature.
Wait for ca 25 minutes for the motor (circuit breaker) get
cooled.
Pump running but not
pumping.
Water level below the minimum suction level
When the pump is submerged or at automatic
operation, air bubbles may be formed in the pump
due to inappropriate location of the float switch.
This will happen if the pump does not stop at the
minimum water level and goes on drawing in the
air. Clogged air intake filter. Blocked drainage
tube.
Switch the pump off.
Let the air out by tilting the pump and submerging it in
water again.
Remove any dirt.
Clean the tube.
Replace and clean the tube.
Low delivered quantity
Bent drainage tube or decreased diameter.
Fouled base/rotor. Partially clogged.
Unbend the tube.
Increase the diameter.
Clean
Unplug
Pump will not start up
or stop suddenly
during the operation
The float does not work. Motor circuit breaker
does not trigger. Rotor has jammed Thermal cut-
out as put the pump off because of overheating
No current.
Dirt particles (pebbles) have stuck on the suction
hole.
Check the cable/plug/fuses.
Caution: send the pump to a customer service
Liquid temperature too high
max. +35°C.
Exhaust part clogged
Clean. Check the source. Unplug and clean the turbine.
Take care not to exceed the permissible maximum
temperature 30°C.
Check the fuse and electric connection.
Check suction hole
Check the source
