SETUP
Allows you to Register your Cordless Handsets, and set
BACKLIGHT TIME, AUTO
TALK, UNIT NAME, LANGUAGE, CONTRAST, CHANGE PIN CODE, TIME FORMAT,
SET TIME,
and
SET DEFAULT
. Press Menu/OK to proceed.
BACKLIGHT TIME
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
BACKLIGHT TIME
and press MENU OK to
proceed.
2.
You have a choice of 5 – 20 seconds. Use the
buttons to adjust the time,
and press MENU OK.
AUTO TALK
Allows you to set the cordless handset to auto talk, so that you can start talking as
soon as you pick up the handset from the cradle.
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
AUTO TALK
and press MENU OK to proceed.
2.
You have a choice of 5 – 20 seconds. Use the
buttons to adjust the time,
and press MENU OK.
UNIT NAME
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
UNIT NAME
and press MENU OK to proceed.
2.
Enter a name, and press MENU OK. You will hear a prolonged beep, and the
name is now set.
LANGUAGE
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
LANGUAGE
and press MENU OK to proceed.
2.
You have a choice of 3 (
English, Simple Chinese, Complex Chinese
). Use the
buttons to select the appropriate one, and press MENU OK.
CONTRAST
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
CONTRAST
and press MENU OK to proceed.
2.
You have a choice of 1-8. Use the
buttons to adjust the contrast level,
and press MENU OK.

Please refer to pages 9 and 10.

CHANGE PIN CODE
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
CHANGE PIN CODE
and press MENU OK to
proceed.
2.
Enter a 4 digit number and press MENU OK. The new code has now been set.
TIME FORMAT
1.
Use the
buttons to select,
TIME FORMAT
and press MENU OK to
proceed.
2.
Use the
buttons to select from 12HOUR or 24 HOUR , and press MENU
OK. You will hear a prolonged beep, and the selected time format is now set.
SET TIME
1.
Use the
buttons to select
SET TIME
and press Menu/OK to proceed.
2.
Use the
buttons to adjust the Year (YY) and press Menu/OK to proceed,
do the same for each of the following Month (MM), Day (DD), Hour (HH) and
Minutes (MM).
SET DEFAULT
1.
Use the
buttons to select
SET DEFAULT
and press Menu/OK to proceed.
2.
The display shows “
CONFIRM
”, press Menu/OK to confirm. (
Please note,
applying this setting might set the Language to Chinese
).
PROFILE
Allows you to set a Profile for your Cordless Handsets, which includes the following
RING TONE, RINGER VOLUME, PAGE TONE, AND KEY TONE
. Press Menu/OK to
proceed.
HS RINGER MUSIC
1.
Use the
buttons to select
HS RINGER MUSIC
and press Menu/OK to
proceed.
2.
Use the
buttons to select from
the following
DEFAULT GROUP, VIP
GROUP, FAMILY GROUP, FRIEND GROUP
and
COLLEAGUE GROUP
and press
Menu/OK to proceed.
3.
Use the
buttons to select from the 20 available Ring Tones, highlight the
one you want, and press Menu/OK. You will hear a prolonged beep, and the
ring tone is now set.
