Setting the QAM modulation

Pressing

QAM:
" menu takes you back to the beginning of the
"Setting the station filter" chapter. The "Set the station filter" operation may be
repeated (not possible with the hotel mode is switched on).

—> A higher QAM modulation value reduces the output symbol rate (permis-
sible value < 7000 kilosymbols/sec).
An output QAM modulation of > 64 QAM places a high load on the
cable network. Due to noise, delay and frequency response problems,
the reception of the converted output signal may be impaired.
Inverting the user signal
You can invert the spectral position of the user signal in exceptional cases as
well as with "old" digital cable receivers.
