Connecting and separating the dictation machine

and the PC

• Use the USB cable to connect the dictation machine to

the USB interface at the PC via the »PC/USB« port.

– The dictation machine begins to charge the rechar-

geable batteries. The green LED is blinking!

• Move the On/Off switch to »ON« to switch on the dicta-

tion machine.

– Now you are prompted for the PIN*.

warning:

Disconnect the USB interface via the task bar, as other-

wise the transfer may not be complete.

Note:

The Grundig PC software can only be connected to one

dictation machine at a time. If you connect a second dicta-

tion machine to the USB interface, the PC will not detect it,

i.e. Windows will only display one removable disk drive.

• Connect the dictation machine to the PC via the USB

interface.
– If the dictation machine is already switched on the

USB parallel operation mode » « sets up automa-

tically. The computer identifies the device as remo-

vable medium and as USB audio/HID device.

Now you can transfer data between PC and dictation

machine.
• Select USB parallel operation » « with the navigation

buttons »
