Slide the impeller 49 onto the pump shaft 51.

Prepare the impeller nut 67 together with impeller
lock washers 66 as shown in Fig. 48

31. Grease the thread of the pump shaft 51
Recommend Klüberpaste UH1 96-402 or
equivalent.

32. Screw the impeller nut 67 onto the pump shaft
51 with a 4mm gap to impeller 49.
This gap is intended for the impeller nut O-ring.
33. Slide O-ring 67b over impeller nut 67.
34. Tighten the impeller nut 67 by using a socket
wrench (pos. 4 or 5, fig. 55) on the impeller nut.
Insert a screwdriver or similar tool through the
hole in the shaft 51 to prevent shaft rotation.
Torques:
M10: 15 lbf ft (20 Nm).
M20x1.5: 74 lbf ft (100 Nm).
CAUTION. Do not attempt to prevent shaft
rotation by jamming screwdriver between the
shaft 51 and the tension ring bolts 9. Damage to
the tension ring bolts will occur!
