ONNECTING TO
ETHERNET
The connection to a HUB is implemented using a 1:1 Cat 5 cable with RJ45
connectors. A crossed cable is required for direct connection to another PC.
Two diagnostic LEDs are provided for ETHER1:
Orange:
LINK (connection to HUB or other device)
Green:
ACT (send or receive)
Cables connected to the Ethernet interfaces must be routed separately from
low-voltage cables.
Please see the technical manual of the motherboard for a detailed
description of the Ethernet-interfaces.
An STP cable must be used for interference free
operation.

USB
INTERFACE
The USB interfaces comply with the USB 1.1 standard. USB1 und USB3 are
not available from outside of the Compact Panel PC M.
Cables connected to the USB interfaces must be routed separately from low-
voltage cables.

description of the USB-interfaces.
A shielded cable must be used for an interference free
operation.

OUSE FOR SERVICE PURPOSE
The Keyboard and Mouse interfaces are PC-compatible.
These interfaces are intended for service purpose.
