ALUMINIUM ELEMENTS UNDER PRESSURE HAZARD
Using liquids which are not intended for contact with aluminium can trigger a severe chemical reaction
and can lead to bursting of the device. Not following the above mentioned notice can lead to death,
severe body injuries or property damage.
1. Do not use 1,1,1-trichloroethane, methylene chloride, other halogenated hydrocarbon sol-
vents nor liquids containing such solvents.
2.
Many other liquids can contain chemical substances which can react with aluminium. Informa-
tion regarding compliance can be obtained from suppliers of the materials.
RISK OF INJURY CAUSED BY MOVING PARTS
Moving parts can jam, injure or cut fingers and other body parts.
1. Do not approach the moving parts.
2. Do not use the device without safety shells and covers in place.
3. Tools which are under pressure can start without warning. Before checking, transporting or
servicing of the device perform the decompression procedure and unplug all power sources.
HAZARDS RELATED TO IMPROPER USE OF THE DEVICE
Improper use of the device can lead to death or disability.
1. While painting always use proper gloves, eye protection and a respirator or a mask.
2. Do not start the device nor perform spraying work near children. Keep children away from
the device.
3. Do not exceed normal range. Do not place the device on unstable ground. Keep proper pos-
ture and balance.
4. Remain concentrated and focus on performed action.
5. You must not leave a device connected to the power source or under pressure unattended. If
the device is not used, switch it off and perform the decompression procedure.
6. Do not use the device while tired or under influence of drugs or alcohol.
7.
Do not snap and excessively bend the hose.
8. Do not expose the hose to temperatures or pressure exceeding parameters recommended by
GRÖNE company.
9. Never use the hose for moving or lifting of the equipment.
10. Do not perform spraying if the hose is shorter than 7.5 m.
INDIVIDUAL SAFETY MEASURES
While being in the working area, wear proper protection measures which will help you pre-
vent serious injuries, including eye injuries, hearing loss, consequences of toxic fumes inha-
lation and burns.
Measures include: protective eyewear, respiratory appliances, protective clothing and gloves
among others which are in compliance with manufacturer‘s recommendations of liquid or
solvent.
While using power tools remain alert and pay attention to your actions and use common
sense. Do not use power tools when tired or under influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
A moment of distraction while using power tools can result in serious injuries.
