Maintenance

• Shut off water supply. 
• Disconnect voltage supply.
• Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.

I. Battery

Batteries which are almost discharged are indicated 
by a flashing indicator lamp in the sensor system.

Assemble in reverse order.

II. Replace power supply unit (42 464)

III. Solenoid valve

IV. Filter

• Filter upstream of solenoid valve blocked
• Solenoid valve defective
• Plug-in connector without contact
• No  voltage

- Battery discharged
- Power supply unit defective
- Voltage supply switched off

• Hands not in detection zone
• Cleaning mode activated

- Open shut-off valve, service valve
- Clean or replace filter
- Replace solenoid valve
- Check plug-in connector

- Replace battery
- Replace power supply unit
- Switch on voltage supply
- Hold hands directly under the spout
- Deactivate cleaning mode or wait 3 minutes

Water flowing 
continuously

• Solenoid valve defective
• Thermal disinfection activated

- Replace solenoid valve 
- Wait 3.5 or 11 minutes

Undesired water flow

• Sensor system detection zone 

set too high for local conditions

• Automatic flushing activated

- Reduce range using remote control 

(special accessory, Prod. No.: 36 206)

- Wait 1 - 10 minutes

Flow rate too low

• Mousseur dirty 
• Filter upstream of solenoid valve dirty
• Water supply restricted

- Clean or replace mousseur
- Clean or replace filter
- Check supply lines, open shut-off valve, 

service valve
