Remember maximum working clearances
when installing dust hoses.
Dust Collection
The Model G0501 is equipped with two dust ports
that should be properly connected to a dust col-
lection system before operation.
To connect the dust ports to a dust collection
system:
1.
Secure a 5" dust hose to the dust port locat-
ed under the saw table (
Figure 59 ).

2. Run the 5" hose to your dust collection sys-
tem.

Run the 2" hose along the braces on the
back of the blade guard swing arm to your
dust collection system. Make sure to leave
extra slack in the dust hose near swing arm
pivot points.
3. Connect a 2" dust hose to the port located
above the blade guard shown in
Figure 60
.
5.
Run a ground wire along the dust hose and
attach the wire to the machine to protect
against static electricity.
