4.3 MASTER -SLAVE
More RISALTO units can be set to ‘SLAVE’option to follow the ‘MASTER’ unit in synchrony.
The ‘MASTER’ unit must have its relevant DIP switch key set to MASTER/AUTOMATIC; the
‘SLAVE’ units must have all DIP switches set to (OFF).
A line terminal resistor is required when the DMX line is longer than 100m.
The line terminal must be fitted between the 2 signal pins (2 and 3) at the end of the DMX line.
A 120 ohm resistor is suggested.
4.4 DMX line connection
Remove the screw stoppers of the bushes shown in picture 9 by unscrewing the relevant nuts.
Open the PCB housing (as shown in picture 9) and connect the digital data cables as per scheme
depicted. It is highly recommended to slide cables through provided bushes and tighten the stud
nuts to guarantee the impermeability of the unit.
