4.5 Optical system
RISALTO is supplied with a Ø79 mm tempered glass (picture n.10) which gives a 42° beam angle.
A Fresnel lens and a horizontal/vertical expansion filter are available, on request, as additional
accessories.
Installing the Fresnel lens :
The Fresnel lens will replace the front tempered glass. Remove the elastic clamping ring (picture
no. 11), replace the glass with the optional lens (picture no. 12) and then secure the elastic clam-
ping ring back again.
The new beam angle will be 19°.
Installing the Fresnel lens and the horizontal expansion filter :
The horizontal expansion filter used in conjunction with the Fresnel lens allows a horizontal exten-
sion of the light output. Remove the elastic clamping ring, replace the glass with the optional lens
and the expansion filter, and then secure the elastic clamping ring back again.
As shown in picture no. 13, the filter must be orientated with its grooves in a vertical position and
must precede the Fresnel lens.
The new light output will be 48° (horizontal) and 18° (vertical).
Installing the Fresnel lens and the vertical expansion filter :
The vertical expansion filter used in conjunction with the Fresnel lens allows a vertical extension
of the light output.
Remove the elastic clamping ring, replace the glass with the optional lens and the expansion filter,
and then secure the elastic clamping ring back again.
As shown in picture no. 14, the filter must be orientated with its grooves in a horizontal position
and must precede the Fresnel lens.
The new light output will be 48° (vertical) and 18° (horizontal).
Note: The expansion filter must always be used in conjunction with the Fresnel lens.
