PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE & SOLUTION
Motor works and valve doesn’t
Check wiring connections.
Replace valve if failed.
Electronic ball valve does not open
and reel does not rewind
Check 10Amp bade fuse secured to
the battery containment box. Replace
if fuse has blown.
Check battery voltage (minimum
11.3 volts needed). Charge or replace
battery if necessary.
Check solar panel for operation at the
Intelligent PWM Controller. Replace if
faulty
Check wiring running into solar panel
for good connection and corrosion.
Replace wire into controller terminals
and clean any corrosion.
Electronic ball valve does
operate but reel does not rewind
Check battery voltage (minimum 11.3
volts needed for motor to rewind the
ball valve does not need as much
voltage to operate). Charge battery or
replace if necessary.
Motor failure - please replace motor
No flow from sprinkler head
Ball valve at sprinkler head is not in the
open position. Open valve
Electronic ball valve has not opened
due to insufficient battery charge.
Charge or replace battery if necessary.
Electronic ball valve has not opened
due to corrosion on valve if not used
regularly
Sprinkler head spray pattern is
obstructed
Check sprinkler head nozzle for foreign
material. Remove nozzle, flush clean
with water and replace.
