SERVICE ELECTRICAL

MX15337

Chariot LX models equipped with Kohler EFI engines have 
three additional fuses:

•

One 10-amp fuse (A), used to protect the fuel pump 

circuit.

•

One 20-amp fuse (B), used to protect the main power 

circuit.

•

One 30-amp fuse (C), used to protect the charge circuit.

1. Remove defective fuse from socket.

2. Check metal clip in fuse window and discard fuse if clip 
is broken.

3. Install new fuse into socket.

Burnishing the PTO Clutch

NOTE: The clutch will only require burnishing if a new 
clutch has been installed.

1. Start and run the engine at 1/2 throttle.

2. Engage and disengage the PTO clutch five times (ten 
seconds on, ten seconds off).

3. Move throttle lever to 3/4 throttle.

4. Engage and disengage the PTO clutch five times (ten 
seconds on, ten seconds off).
