Indoor YAK55M - the "GB-Shocky"   -Designed by Gernot
Bruckmann

Congratulations on choosing the GB Shocky!  -The ETOC 2010 Winning Plane.

Gernot Bruckmann's indoor YAK 55M has, over the last few years, become "THE
reference model"  for all indoor flying models.  It has won many national and  international
competitions and was also flown at the last ETOC 2010   (ETOC ="Electric Tournament of
Champions" competition ) in Toledo, USA/.  With this Yak55M plane, Gernot won the
ETOC International Competition, effectively the World Championships for Indoor Flying.

Often imitated, never duplicated!

Because of the unsurpassed flight characteristics of the original plane,  the original has
had countless more or less successful copies made of it,  however this new YAK is
different.   Gernot has naturally developed his indoor YAK constantly,  whilst keeping in
mind the principle "keep it simple"   -he has often neglected new "fads" such as milling, air
brakes and spoilers, in order not to spoil the robustness of the model for hard competition
use and also to ensure the practical value of this model for hobby pilots.

Depron ® is out, colour is in ....

The ideal goal of a "fully printed" model with no weight increase in comparison to a white
foam version has been achieved through the use of particularly light expanded foam -and
the elaborate colour design on top and on the underside of the model is applied without
the modeller having to reach for the airbrush.

The model is intended for operation in confined spaces, and can in appropriate conditions (i.e. low wind) also be used
outdoors.
We request, however, that it is noted that this model is not a "Toy", and both for construction and operation you should
have at least a basic knowledge of flight and Motor / Li-Po battery / Li-Po chargers  -so that safe and successful
construction and operation can be achieved.

Please follow safety practices when using electrical and electronic components and pay particular attention to the
dangers of rotating parts such as propellers.   Never stand in the plane of propeller rotation and remember that due to
technical defects or an unexpected motor starting that a propeller can become loose.  Always perform a range test of the
radio control, and observe the manufacturer instructions for your radio control set.

Before each use, inspect the model for damage and never fly near people or animals.

In many countries you are required by law to have valid liability insurance, in order to operate a radio-control aircraft !

costs.
