Description
Enable Probe
Set to enable the probe so that it will contribute to the automatic switch decision process based
on the
Automatic Rules Engine Weight
you have assigned to it (
Weight
=
High
,
Low
). Certain
probes cannot be disabled.
A probe that is enabled:
Is reflected in the device status as reported to iControl (
Weight
has no bearing on this).
Only becomes active after:
o
A signal outage time delay (
Duration
or
Set Duration
).
o
A threshold level has been met (
Threshold
).
o
A signal restored time delay (
Clear Duration
).

Set the
probe’s outage time required to trigger the probe to filter transients. See also the

Threshold
Set the
probe’s threshold level has to be met to trigger the probe to filter transients. See also the
description for the specific probe for more information.
Clear Duration Set the amount of time that the signal must be restored before the probe is reset. See also the
description for the specific probe for more information.
