Wash down the chain if it's muddy before it goes into anchor locker to keep things
smelling nice.

Turn OFF the Windlass power switch.

•

A spare Danforth anchor is stowed in the lazarette.

Manual Windlass

If the electric windlass is not functioning there is an ‘engaging’ pole in the small
lazarette behind the windlass. Take the pole and put it in the slot on the starboard
side. You will now manually be able to work the windlass.
