GRACE EASY Manual
9.6.
Chain (EASY 1x10)
Due to its function, the chain is susceptible to wear, which is very dependent on care and
maintenance and on how the GRACE EASY is used (mileage, dirt, salt and riding in the rain,
etc.). The life span of the chain can be prolonged by regular cleaning and lubrication
although it is necessary to replace it when the limit is reached.
9.7.
Chain wheels, the cartridge, rear derailleur rollers and the bottom bracket
(EASY 1x10)
All sprockets, chain wheels and the bottom bracket are susceptible to wear due to their
function. Wear and tear on these components depends on care and maintenance and the
use of your GRACE ONE E-Motorbike (mileage, dirt, salt, trips in the rain, etc.).
9.8.
Shift cables
The Bowden cables on the gears must be regularly maintained and may need to be replaced.
In particular, this can be case when GRACE EASY is often left outdoors and exposed to the
elements.
9.9.
Lubricants
Lubricants change their properties in time. For this reason you should regularly clean and re-
lubricate all lube points to prevent increased wear on the affected parts and bearings.
9.10.
Handlebars and seat post
Both the handlebars and the seat post are subject to strong dynamic loads while riding.
Therefore, check them at regular intervals for externally visible damage, replace when
necessary. We also recommend you replace these parts every two years with heavy use of
the GRACE EASY.
9.11.
Moving parts and bearings
All moving parts and bearings are subject to use-related wear. The degree of wear depends
on how the bike is maintained, services and how it is used (distance, riding in rain, dirt, salt).
