4-7: Belt will be routed as shown.

4-8: Place Sewing Machine or Top Plate at an angle

on the carriage.

Note: This step will require two people.

4-9: Thread the free end of the Short Belt into the

gear box in the QuiltMotion Motor Plate from the

top until it comes out the bottom of the carriage.

Note: Keep the belt flat without any twists.

4-10: Loop the Short Belt over and feed it back

through the gear box and back out the top of the

Bottom Carriage.

Note: The belt teeth should be facing towards the

gear teeth.
