4-9: Loosen the (5) M6 x 20mm SBHCS and adjust the Motor Plate so the Belt is aligned with the Belt

Clamp and Belt Tensioner.

4-10: Place the Sewing Machine or Top Plate at an

angle on the carriage.

Note: This step will require 2 people.

4-11: Thread the free end of the Short Belt into the

gear box in the QuiltMotion Motor Plate from the

top until it comes out the bottom of the carriage.

Note: Keep the belt flat without any twists.
