The set cooking time was
too short or the temperature
too low. Increase the cooking time or
temperature.
The items of food are piled
on top of one another. Spread the food around.
The food is slightly
burnt.
The selected temperature is
too high or the cooking time
too long. Reduce the temperature or
cooking time.
Smoke develops
during operation
The food being grilled is
touching the heating ele-
ment. Slide the grill rack onto a lower
rail.
The food being grilled is
not touching the heating
element. Take out the food. It is not suit-
able for this grill.
The grill gets very
hot on the outside or
overheats. Blocked ventilation slots or
air inlets. Remove all objects which might
cause a blockage.
