This device works with hot air. It is not a conventional fryer in which food is
deep-fried using lots of oil! In general, you can prepare all dishes that can
also be prepared in a conventional fan oven. For good results, please read
the “Tips” chapter.
1. Insert the rack (
4
) into the drawer (
6
).
2. Place the food that is to be prepared into the drawer.
3. Insert the drawer into the device.
4. Use the temperature control dial (
9
) to set a cooking temperature between 80 °C and
200 °C.
5. Use the timer (
7
) to set a preparation time (1 – 30 minutes) in order to start the cook-
ing process. The temperature control lamp (
2
) also lights up as soon as the device
starts heating up.
Please note:
If the temperature control lamp goes out and lights up again, this
means that the device is interrupting the heating process. This maintains a constant
temperature.
6. When the set timer time has elapsed, a beep is heard and the supply of heat is
automatically stopped. The timer can also be set to the
0
position manually to stop
the cooking process at any time in order, for example, to mix food around or check
whether the food is already fully cooked.
7. Pull the drawer out of the device by the handle (
5
) and place the drawer down on a
heat-resistant, non-slip surface.
Beware of burns! The drawer and the food which
is prepared are hot! Use kitchen gloves.
8. Remove the food.
9. Allow the device to cool down and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
10. Clean the device after each use (see “Cleaning and Storage”). Do not allow any food
residues to dry on the device.
