Update the Antenna Software
For the antennas, you can use a PC or notebook to update the software of the inte
-
grated evaluators via the serial interface if required. After switching on, the integrat
-
ed loader checks for approx. 10 seconds whether a download should take place. If
not, it then starts the normal operating program.
Data received within these 10 seconds are checked for validity.
11.1 Setting up the Update Program
For the update you can only use the update program described below! We will send
this to you by e-mail on request. Send your request by e-mail, phone, fax or letter to
the address mentioned on the title page.
The program for updating the antenna software is a 32-bit application for Microsoft
Windows.
To install the program:
Execute the file
ST-Flasher2_setup.exe
.
11.2 Updating the Software
Requirements:
While the software update is being performed, no other programs may occupy
the serial interface (COM port) used.
Proceed as follows:
Disconnect the connection to the serial interface in your monitor program (e.g.
HyperTerminal).
Connect the antenna to your PC.
Start the update program on the PC as described in section 11.1.
To start the program on the PC:
Double click on the file
ST10-Flasher.exe
.
The ST10-Flasher window will appear.
