Connecting the Instrument to a SECULIFE PS300 Patient Simulator (Sync Mode)
The instrument can be connected directly to a SECULIFE PS300 patient simulator
equipped with an SpO
2
pulse output. In this configuration the instrument can syn-
chronize its pulsating output heart rate with the settings of the patient simulator.
SECULIFE SP BASE adds the simulation of SpO
2
to the patient simulator‘s range
of parameters.
The connected monitor is enabled.
The SpO
2
output of the connected patient simulator is activated.
1. Connect the sync cable to the instrument.
2. Connect the other side of the sync cable to the auxiliary port of the patient
monitor.
The instrument synchronizes its pulsating output heart rate with the settings of
the patient monitor.
