3.3 Setup the Soul Way sound bar
a)
Ensure the power switch is in the “off” position, connect the power cord to the Soul Way, and plug the cord into your AC outlet.
b)
Set the power switch to the “on” position.
c)
Press the Power/Standby button on the top of the sound bar to bring the unit out of standby.
d)
The standby LED indicator will go dark and the pair LED above the pair button will be lit dimly lit, indicating the unit is ready to
receive a wireless signal from an Audio Sender.
3.4 Cluster with Soul Shaker subwoofer
You can cluster your Soul Way sound bar with a Soul Shaker subwoofer. When these two products are clustered together, they
function as though they are a single device. Volume up/down or a change in pairing will affect both products simultaneously.
To cluster Soul Way to Soul Shaker (with Soul Way being the master device), follow these steps:
1)
Prepare both devices:
• Switch both devices off using their AC power switches.
• Place your Soul Shaker subwoofer within 6 feet (2 meters) of the Soul Way sound bar.
• Make sure all Audio Senders within range of the Soul Way (100 feet / 30 meters), are powered off.
2)
Switch the Soul Way sound bar’s AC power switch to “on”.
3)
Press and hold the Soul Way’s pair/bond button then press the power/standby button. Hold the pair/bond button until the
pair/bond LED begins to flash red.
4)
While the Soul Way LED flashes, switch the Soul Shaker subwoofer on.
5)
The pair/bond LED indicator will flash red on both devices. When both LEDs to show solid red, power the devices off.
6)
Switch the Soul Way on and press its power/standby button. Switch the Soul Shaker on. Your devices are now clustered.
To uncluster the sound bar and subwoofer, follow the above process, but skip step 4 – do not power on the subwoofer. The sound
bar’s cluster attempt will end without finding the subwoofer and the devices will be unclustered.
