Device Registration
Before using the
GOEPEL electronic
Video Dragon
basicCON 4121
for
the very first time, the device must be registered at the
G-API
, which
is responsible for all further communication between the control PC or
laptop and the device.
This registration is simply done by starting the HardwareExplorer.
The following figure shows a
Video Dragon
basicCON 4121
with two
interfaces:
The
basicCON 4121
is shown in the device list on the left side with its
available software interfaces. If several devices are connected, the
corresponding device can be identified by its serial number in
parentheses. The name of the LVDS interface (i.e. “LVDS1”, see the
figure above) is important for the further steps.
