14. ABSOLUTE ENCODER TYPES.
Some encoders count up in the clockwise direction and some count down. In order to synchronise the
internal software encoder with the real encoder switch 1 on DILA on the main PCB can be used.
switch 1 OFF software encoder and external encoder synchronised i.e. both count in same
direction.
switch 1 ON software encoder and external encoder count in opposite directions.
Note: the direction of counting can still be set on page 1 of the parameter mode and DILA only serves to
synchronise the internal software counter with the external encoder.
