Description and function
2.1
Product
The product is an HDMI™ switcher that can connect up to 4x
HDMI™ source devices to 1x HDMI™ output device simulta-
neously. The product also has a 3.5 mm and a Toslink con-
nector for connecting additional audio output devices. The
switcher can be controlled using the buttons on the unit or the
remote control.

Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use
and its intended purpose. This product is not inten-
ded for commercial use. We do not permit using the
device in other ways like described in chapter „Description
and Function“ or in the „Safety Instructions“. Use the product
only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations
and safety instructions might cause fatal accidents, injuries,
and damages to persons and property.

Connection and operation
5.1
Connection

Material damage
• Disconnect the power to the switcher before connecting
or disconnecting your source and output devices via the
HDMI™ sockets.
See Fig. 2.
1. Connect up to four source devices to the HDMI™ sockets
(input) (8) of the switcher.
2. Connect an output device to the HDMI™ socket (output)
(7) of the switcher.
To use the ARC function, the HDMI™ output of the swit-
cher must be connected to an ARC-compatible HDMI™ so-
cket of the TV.
3. Connect an audio output device (e.g. soundbar) to the Tos-
link socket (9).

Optionally, connect another audio output device (e.g. hi-fi
system) to the 3.5 mm jack socket (10).
Connection cables are not included in the delivery. Make
sure that the source and output devices as well as the con-
nection cables support the resolutions and standards of the
product!
5. Connect the USB-A plug (13) of the charging cable to the
USB-A socket (12) of the power supply.
6. Plug the Euro plug (11) of the power supply into a free and
easily accessible socket.
7. Connect the micro USB plug (14) of the charging cable to
the micro USB socket (6) of the switcher.
The switcher is now supplied with power.
8. Disconnect all cable connections after use.
5.2
Operation
• Press the ARC button (3) to turn the ARC function on
and off.
When the ARC function is active, no sound is transmitted to
the TV via the HDMI™ output (7).
• Press the 2.1/5.1/TV button (4) to switch between au-
dio formats.
In the 2.1 setting, sound is transmitted in 2.1 format via all
outputs. In the 5.1 setting, sound in 5.1 format is transmitted
via the Toslink socket (9). The other audio outputs are also
active. In the TV setting, the audio format supported by the
TV is transmitted.
• Press the SELECT button (5) to switch between the in-
put signals.

LED status indicators
Designation Description
ARC
The LED lights up blue when the ARC
function is active.
2.1, 5.1, TV
The LED lights up blue when the respecti-
ve audio format is active.
OUT
The LED lights up blue when the output
device is properly connected and swit-
ched on.
1, 2, 3, 4
The LED lights up blue when the source
device connected to the respective HDMI™
socket (input) is correctly connected and
selected.
Power
The LED lights red when power is supplied
to the switcher.

Remote control
6.1
Activating the remote control
• Pull the contact protector out of the battery compartment.
6.2
Buttons
• 1, 2, 3, 4:
Press the button to select the corresponding in-
put signal.

Press the button to select the next active input si-
gnal.
• 2.1CH, 5.1CH, TV:
Press the button to select the corre-
sponding audio format.
•
ARC:
Press the button to switch the ARC function on or
off.
6.3
Changing the battery
Replace the dead battery with a new one of the same type if
necessary.
1. Open the battery compartment by pushing the small lever
to the side and then pull out the battery compartment and
remove the empty battery.
2. Place the new battery in the battery compartment with the
positive pole facing upwards and slide the battery com-
partment closed again.
3. Dispose of the empty battery properly.

Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.

• Always disconnect the mains plug before cleaning.
• Only use a dry and soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use detergents or chemicals.
• Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry
and dust-protected ambience when not in use.
• Store cool and dry.
• Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

8.1
Product
According to the European WEEE directive, electrical
and electronic equipment must not be disposed with
consumers waste. Its components must be recycled
or disposed apart from each other. Otherwise conta-
minative and hazardous substances can damage the
health and pollute the environment.
As a consumer, you are committed by law to dispose electrical
and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public
collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime for free.
