Step 2: Check for “FLASH CODES”
If, when powered up, there is an error with the system, then the status
indicator will flash red. The number of flashes will indicate the type of error.
These are described in the table below.

Right motor error
Check the right motor, connections and
cabling.

Left park brake error
Check the left park brake, connections
and cabling.

Right park brake error
Check the right park brake, connections
and cabling.

Module error (other than Remote)
Check LiNX connections and wiring.
Check the battery voltage. Check the
LiNX power module connections. Replace
the Power Module.
The LiNX modules are not user serviceable. Do not attempt to repair LiNX
modules.
Flash Code 1: Remote / Joystick Error
A. Check the LiNX connections and wiring.
B. Replace the LiNX control unit (joystick).
Flash Code 2: Network or Configuration Error
A. Check the LiNX connections and wiring.
B. Check the battery voltage and cabling.
C. If the battery voltage fault persists, replace the batteries.
D. Replace the LiNX control unit (joystick).
Flash Code 3: Left Motor Error
A. Check the resistance of the left motor to determine if the fault is in the motor or the controller.
Set your meter to the 20 Ohm scale.
Touch the leads together to make sure the ohm meter is accurate. You should have 0 ohms at this point. If
not, your meter needs to be calibrated.
Place the red and black meter leads on the two outside pins of the connector on the motor as shown in
figure 9 on page 16.
