CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Maintenance
We recommend that you have an experienced mechanic perform the
following checks and lubricate required areas once a year.
Lubricate all pivot points and check fasteners, nuts and bolts.
Do not lubricate the brake components.
Check the pram/stroller regularly.
Never put heavy items on the top of the pram/stroller.
It is unsafe to use parts and accessories other than those supplied
for the Ambulo.
Always lift the front wheels over curbs or steps.
Wheel Axles
– Lubricate, adjust and check for signs of wear.
Folding mechanism
– Lubricate, adjust and check for signs of wear.
Rear footbrake
– Lubricate pivot point, adjust and check for signs of
wear.
Tyres
– Check tyres regularly for proper inflation. Inflate to 40 PSI range.
Lower pressures give a softer ride. Always use a hand or foot pump to
inflate the tires.
Cleaning
Cleaning the Fabric
Dust or slight stains can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
The seat cover and the canopy cover can be washed by hand. Only
use cold water and mild detergent. Do not machine wash.
Do not brush the fabric.
Do not over expose to the sun. Dry in a ventilated place.
Hand wash the footmuff and apron (warm water 30C) and dry away
from direct sunlight.
Do not iron.
Cleaning the Frame
Clean the frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
