The visual indicator type AUV must not change within 15 minutes (from
GREEN
to
RED)
, otherwise the cylinder system has a leak!
The simplified leak testing process does not replace the pressure and leak testing of the LPG
system by a professional.
Test connection for leak tester
A leak tester can be connected to the test connection
for pressure and leak testing of the
LPG system.
1. Close all shut-off fittings on the connected
devices.
2. Close the cylinder valves.
3. Unscrew the screw cap of the test connection
.
4. Connect test hose to the test connection
.
5. Turn the test valve
to the “CLOSED” position,
should not be used to "block" the system.
6. Carry out leak testing with 150 mbar.
7. Once the test is complete, unscrew test hose and
turn the test valve
back to the “OPEN” position.
8. Spray the connection with a foam producing substance according to
EN 14291 (e.g. leak spray, item no. 02 601 00).
9. More bubbles will form in the foam producing substance if there are any
leaks.
10. Fasten the screw cap back on the test connection

START-UP
After the product has been ASSEMBLED and LEAK TESTING has been carried out
successfully, it is immediately ready for operation.
