RESTORATION
If the actions described in MAINTENANCE do not lead to a proper restart and if there is no
dimensioning problem, the product must be sent to the manufacturer to be checked. Our
warranty does not apply in cases of unauthorised interference.
REPLACEMENT
If there is any sign of wear or if the product or parts thereof are damaged, it must be replaced.
Pursuant to DIN 4755:
Fittings for oil lines and equipment parts for heat generators and burners which are subject to
wear should be replaced after 10 years at the latest.
Replacement is not required if the proper condition of the fittings and equipment parts has
been confirmed by qualified personnel.
If the plastic filter cup is damaged or destroyed, it must be replaced with a new one. The
approach is identical to the procedure for
replacing the filter element
.
After any flooding, external contamination on the filter should be cleaned using a
commercially available domestic cleaning agent.
When using cleaning agents which contain solvents, the plastic filter cup and the handle may
be destroyed.
Replacing the filter element :
Replacement is required if an even coating through which the structure of the filter surface
can no longer be seen has formed. The generation of distinctly perceptible noise from the
burner pump may be an indication of a blocked filter element. To this end:
• Close the shut-off fittings,
•
Stop withdrawal from the tank, where necessary,
• Use a collector!

Loosen the clamping ring by anti-
clockwise rotation, hold and remove the filter
cup .
Loosen the replacement filter by anti-
clockwise rotation and unscrew it. Hold the
adapter using a jaw spanner SW 70,

Do not damage the O-ring, replace if
required (oil new O-ring!).
Unscrew the old filter element.
Clean the sealing surface and the O-ring.
Oil the sealing ring of the new replacement
filter.
Insert the new filter element firmly
Fit the filter cup and the O-ring and
manually tighten by rotating the clamping
ring in a clockwise direction.
Fit new replacement filter and tighten
manually through clockwise rotation.
Check and ensure leak-tightness! Clean the line sections downstream of the filter particularly
carefully prior to re-installation. Proceed as for START-UP and OPERATION.
When the product has been replaced, observe the steps ASSEMBLY, LEAK TESTING, and
START-UP!
