Install Firmware update program.
Installing the firmware update program
This is the update of the program to operate the MP3 to the latest version.
Updates generally include bug fixes or functional improvements not found initially.
Double click on the setup.exe file in the Firmware folder inside the installation CD to install the
related program. The program is installed in C:\Program Files\Consumer Update Firmware by
default.
You can refer to the installation CD included with the product or the homepage for the related
program.
exeCUtiNG the firmWare UPDate
1. Start MP3 Player
2. Go to [ Settings ] - [ System ] - [ Upgrade ] Select the “Yes” button.
3. Insert USB cable.
4. You can find “rockusb Device”
5. Execute the Firmware Update.
6. Click the “Open” button and Select Download Firmware file.
7. Click the ”Update” button and wait successful message.
* It takes about 3-5 minute to complete message.
8. Insert USB cable. You can see “System Init…” in MP3 Player
9. Format USB device and you can use new firmware version.
* When you update new firmware, player will be format and you need to back up data to compu -
ter.
