Step 1:

With the help of at least 2 people raise the backboard
assembly and lower in a

vertical position

until the

welded tube on the Bracket Lip

rests in between the

Welded Pin Tubes

on the upper arm pin and hold

backboard in position. See

Detail A

Step 2:

Have one person Insert

quick release pin

(#20)

into

Welded Pin Tubes

to hold backboard in place then,

slowly let the backboard hinge down until it touches the
upper arm bracket. See

Detail B

Become familiar with the location of

Bracket Lip

and

Welded Pin

Tubes

on the Arm

before completing the

next step. See

Step 3:

Secure Backboard assembly to Arm with Washer

(#23)

Lock Washer

(#24)

and Nut

(#25)

as shown in

Detail C

Tighten the nuts with a

standard 9/16 wrench

to keep

backboard in place.
