TV INSTALATION
3) TV installation
First read all the instructions on this page. Channel search is described in a separate chapter below.
1) Install the TV to a suitable location
• You can use the enclosed stand, or the TV can be attached to a surface using a VESA mount
(holder). No other form of installation is allowed!
• Use only the supplied screws to fit the original stand, which must be tightened with care.
Excessive tightening can damage the threaded inserts and reduce the stability of the TV.
• When installing with a VESA mount, follow the manufacturer‘s instructions.
2) Connect the signal source and peripherals
• Do not connect or disconnect any devices while the TV is running. The TV and connected
equipment may be damaged.
3) Insert the batteries into the remote control
Battery safety precautions:
• Use only batteries of the specified type.
• Make sure the polarity of the batteries is correct.
• Do not mix new and old batteries.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries and cells.
• Do not expose batteries to heat sources and do not attempt to open, charge, or short-circuit
the batteries.
• If used improperly, the battery may leak or explode.
• If you will not use the remote control for an extended period of time, remove the batteries
and store them in a dry and dark place at room temperature. Keep away from children.
• Do not dispose of used batteries with common household waste! Follow the instructions given
in the section „Disposing of used batteries“.
4) Plug the power cord into the mains
Warning!
If your TV model has a removable power cord, first plug the power cord into the TV and make
sure the connector is firmly seated. Only then can the power plug be plugged into a power outlet.
Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock or irreversible damage to the TV!
Do not connect the TV to a direct current source!
5) The TV is ready for operation

TV OPERATION
4) First start up
The first time you start your GoSat TV, a quick start up guide will appear with the following steps.
The names, locations and functions of the TV may vary depending on the model and software version
installed.
• Select your language and country where you will use the TV. Read the Terms of Use and confirm
acceptance. Choose a TV location at home or store.
• Set up your TV to the Internet using Ethernet or wireless network to use SMART functions.
Alternatively, select the option without an Internet connection.
• SMART TV features will not be available without valid Internet connection settings!
• When the TV is successfully connected to the Internet, the TV checks the availability of a new
software version. To maximize the user comfort and experience, it is always necessary to update
the software to its latest version.
• Select tuner mode to scan for terrestrial, satellite and cable channels using auto search. If you
wish to tune channels manually, skip this step.
• When the first start up guide is completed, an overview of the selected settings is displayed
and the TV is ready for use.
• The channel tuning function can be accessed at any time in the corresponding MENU. For more
information, see the separate chapter „Channel”.

•
Use the CH +/- button to scroll through the program list by one page (10 program positions)
.
5.3 CI+ module
•
Some programs may be provided by the operator in an encrypted state. To view them, you must
use a conditional access card (decryption card) and meet the terms and condition of the operator
or provider. Your TV is equipped with a CI+ slot for a module, which can read the conditional access
card.
•
To install the CI+ module, follow the manufacturer‘s instructions and recommendations. Usually,
it is necessary to insert the conditional access card into the module as indicated on its packaging.
Then carefully insert the module into the CI+ slot. Be sure to position the module correctly,
otherwise the contact pins in the CI+ slot may be damaged.
•
Upon successful insertion, the authentication process between the module, access card and
the TV will begin. The user is informed about the result of the process via the information window.
If the process is successfully completed, the TV will start working with the access card and, after
updating the access card keys, the scrambled content will be accessible for viewing.
•
Important
- due to the vast amount of CI+ modules introduced to the market, it is not possible
to guarantee full support and perfect functioning of each module. Please contact Tipa s.r.o. for
module recommendation.
•
The authentication process may run again when the TV set is restarted. This is normal.
