1.4 flexiCal

net

flexiCal

net

is GMI’s Windows

based software package that

will allow customers to easily setup test and calibration files to

be sent to the GDU

net

for testing and calibrating instruments.

The GDU

net

comes pre-loaded with the following

flexiCal

net

test and calibration file setup:

•  Gas 1 - Air
•  Gas 2 - 800 PPM Methane
•  Gas 3 - 50% LEL Methane
•  Gas 4 - 100% Volume Methane

The

flexiCal

net

software configures the GDU

net

to test or

calibrate instruments automatically. This allows the user to specify

how instruments will be tested or calibrated and includes gases,

concentrations and pass or fail criteria.

flexiCal

net

is also used to register additional GDU

net

’s to the

network.
The installation of the software is detailed in Chapter 2.
The operation of the software is detailed in Chapter 3.

1.5 IMS RESULTS MANAGER

All test and calibration results are stored on the GDU

net

IMS

Results Manager

is a software package that retrieves the

test and calibration results, from the GDU

net,

and downloads

them to an IMS database.
After setup this application runs in the background on the

networked PC or laptop.

The installation and setup of the software is detailed in Chapter 4.
