We recommend that you select Type "AUTO" for all drives. The BIOS
will auto-detect the hard disk drive and CD-ROM drive at the POST
stage.
If your hard disk drive is a SCSI device, please select "None" for your
hard drive setting.
Advanced BIOS Features
Virus Warning
---> Allows you to choose the VIRUS warning feature for
IDE Hard Disk boot sector protection. If this function is enabled and
someone attempt to write data into this area, BIOS will show a warning
message on scrning message on screen and alarm beep.
CPU Internal Cache
---> Cache memory is additional memory that is
much faster than conventional DRAM (system memory). CPUs from 486-
type on up contain internal cache memory, and most, but not all, modern
PCs have additional (external) cache memory. When the CPU requests
data, the system transfers the request ed data from the main DRAM into
cache memory, for even faster access by the CPU.
