2.1 Introduction
The 2901190 and 2901200 flat screen PC both contain the AMD Geode-LX 800 motherboard.
The motherboard is the heart of any computer and is responsible for transmitting, receiving
and processing data as well as driving the different onboard devices. This chapter gives a
brief introduction to the AMD Geode-LX 800 motherboard. For more complete details on the
connectors and the different implementations of the AMD Geode-LX 800, please refer to the
AMD Geode-LX 800 user guide.
