COMPRESSOR/ LIMITERS
Each mixer card has output compressor / limiter circuits built in.
We call the circuits compressor/ limiters because the design of the circuit means that
they are neither a traditional hard limiter or soft compressor. Initially gentle
compression is introduced and as the input signal increases so does the
compression ratio, until eventually it becomes a limiter.
All outputs have a compressor/limiter circuit built in.
