- in the event of any malfunction during use

• Do not pull on the mains lead when
disconnecting the plug from the socket outlet.
• Never wrap the mains lead around the
appliance.
• Do not use the appliance:
- when the mains lead is damaged
- when the appliance is visibly damaged
- when the appliance has fallen or been
dropped
• Indicator lights such as LEDs and the IR light do not
exceed laser class 1 in accordance with IEC825-1.
• This appliance can be used by children from
the age of 8 up as well as by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or
with lacking experience and/ or knowledge,
if these persons are supervised or have been
instructed how to use the appliance in a safe
way and have understood the hazards which
could arise from using it. Children must not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are supervised.
• Keep the packaging materials (for instance the
plastic wrapping) out of reach of children.
• Extra safety can be achieved when an earth
leakage circuit breaker with a nominal trip
current of no more than 30 mA has been
installed in the switch box. Consult an
electrician for advice on this matter. Dangerous
situations can also arise when the appliance
is turned off. Therefore, the appliance’s plug
should always be disconnected from the socket
outlet after use.
