AC Motor Control – 1M
Model GC 136 (Receiver)
The model
GC136
Girard Control is a single awning control unit that can be remotely operated with a Girard
Remote Control.
The
GC136
may be programmed simultaneously with up to 20 Remote Controls or other remote units. If an
additional unit is programmed it will replace the last unit programmed and the previous 19 units will remain
unchanged.
The Remote Control will operate the receiver from a distance of more than 500ft in open air and more than 100ft in
the presence of obstructions. The RF transmission frequency is 433.92MHZ.
The Awning may be operated directly from the
GC136
using the UP/STOP/DOWN buttons (Fig. 1). The direction
of travel of the motor can be reversed without the need of changing the wiring connections using the Reverse switch
available on the unit (Fig. 2).
The
GC136
can operate in either Continuous or Step modes (see Program Setup section):
a.
In Continuous mode a single press of the button on the Unit or the Remote Control will cause the Awning
to move in the chosen direction until it reaches the closed or fully extended position unless the Stop button
is pressed.
b.
In Step mode a single press will cause a small step in the chosen direction, but if the button is not released
within 2 seconds the movement will become continuous as desDCibed above.
