DC Motor Control
Model GC 74DC-F (Receiver)
The
GC 74DC-F
Motor Control is used to control DC motors with Current requirements up to 12A.
The unit operates with all G-Link control and is housed in a small box with side flanges for ease of installation.
All connections are made with wires that can be terminated with the 12V connectors without the need for a junction
box. The wires consist of:
•
A set of two wires (Blue and Brown) for connecting the DC motor
•
A set of two wires (Black [-] and Red [+]) for connecting the 12 VDC power source
The additional single wire (Black) is the RF receiver antenna and may be either left loose or attached to a surface
using tape.
The GC-74DC-F must be installed on a fuse protected circuit (no more than 10A).
To install:
1.
Select a convenient location inside the vehicle
2.
Bring the 12VDC power and DC motor wires to this location
3.
Connect the power to the input wires (Red = +12VDC, Black = -12VDC)
4.
Connect the motor wires (Blue and Brown) to the motor.
5.
Test operation using the switch: If the rotation of the awning is not in the desired direction switch the
Blue and Brown wires to the motor
Note:
The switch CANNOT be used for the UP or DOWN function outlined in the programming instructions.
