Recharge key
After the airbag system has been activated, it must be reset.
Check that the crown ( 1 ) on the recharge key is located at the beginning of the threaded stem
(fig_ 6.2 ).

6.1 RECHARGE
WARINING: DO NOT RECHARGE MOTOAIRBAG ® S175 AFTER AN IMPACT
as the airbag device could be damaged.
In this case we recommend to contact an
authorized dealer or D.P.I. Safety s.r.l. for inspection.
■ ONLY IN CASE OF ACTIVATION WITHOUT IMPACT you can proceed with the recharging
operation following the instructions below.
■ Before recharging MOTOAIRBAG ® S175 , follow the checklist in this manual (periodic
checks: chap. 5, page 31 ).
Use the NEW (not perforated) cartridge
6.2 LIFESPAN OF MOTOAIRBAG
® S175
PROTECTOR
The protection system’s useful lifespan depends on the frequency of use and the proper
usage and maintenance.
MOTOAIRBAG
® must be sent for inspection when:

® has suffered an impact.
■
MOTOAIRBAG
® fails the periodic checks listed in this manual ( page 31) .
■
MOTOAIRBAG
® has been activated 10 / 15 times without impact.
■
MOTOAIRBAG
® After 4 years from the date of purchase or after 4 years from the last
inspection.
