6-3. Cleaning the Filter Pan and replacing the Filter Paper daily

This section explains the process for cleaning the Filter Pan and the replacement of the Filter Paper daily.
This process should be carried out daily.

Follow the Normal Shut-Down procedure, see
Section 5-5.

2. Disconnect Quick Disconnect hose, remove the

Filter Pan

and the Filter Pan Cover

3. Clean Filter Pan Cover thoroughly, using a

biodegradable, none toxic cleaner.

4. Using metal Crumb Scoop provided with the

unit, remove the accumulated breading and
residue from the edge of the Hold-Down Frame
and surface of the Filter Paper .

5. Turn the four Levers

to disengage the Hold-

Down Frame

from the bottom of Filter Pan.

6. Remove the Hold-Down Frame

, then clean

and dry thoroughly.

Grasp only the top sheet

of Filter Paper by

one end, carefully roll up and discard.

8. Grasp bottom sheet

of Filter Paper by both

ends and remove; retain for reuse.

9. Remove the Screen

, then clean and dry

thoroughly.

10. Thoroughly clean and dry the Filter Pan

11. Reassemble the Filter Pan using (1) new sheet

of Filter Paper

, placed under maintained

sheet.

12. Reinstall Filter Pan Cover, then the Filter Pan

Assembly into the unit.

Discard this

used sheet

Maintain this

used sheet

New sheet

Use Thermal Mitts for protection from hot parts.
