IT IS NECESSARY TO REPLACE IT, ALONG
WITH THE FUEL FILTER CONTAINED IN THE
TANK. CAREFULLY CLEAN THE SYSTEM AND
THE TANK.

Troubleshooting

1 - A failure of the EMS system is more likely to be due to the connections than to the components.

Before searching the EMS system for failures, perform the following checks:

 - Failures to the EMS system may depend on loosened connectors. Make sure that all connections

are properly implemented.

Check the connectors being careful of the following: 1. check that terminals are not bent. check that

connectors are properly engaged.

Check whether the failure changes if the connector is slightly vibrating.

3

 - Before replacing the EMS control unit, check the whole system carefully.

If the fault is fixed by replacing the EMS control unit, install the original control unit again and check

whether the fault occurs again.

4

 - For troubleshooting, use a multimeter with an internal resistance of more than 10K

Ω
