Troubleshooting
Communication
Cannot ping
kiosk
IP configuration on kiosk
Ensure IP of each unit is set to the correct LAN configuration (kiosk must
be a static IP to avoid future issues).
Router DHCP settings
Ensure DHCP addresses are expanded to accommodate all kiosks.
Windows internal firewalls
settings
If unit can ping other units but cannot be pinged, ensure that Windows
firewall settings are correct by temporarily turning off the firewall.
After reboot,

No network connection
Ensure unit is connected to LAN and verify Internet functionality.

that the kiosk(s) is connected to Passport Router and additional IPs were
added to router configuration. If Passport Server is offline, the clients will
also be offline. Verify NetOps is functioning on the kiosk(s).

kiosk. Xpedient to provide a ‘GoToMeeting’ link that will install the proper
software.
