To set up third-party router, proceed as follows:

The following information is intended for the Passport Cisco Firewall Router. Refer to

MDE-4954 Passport Start-up and Service Manual for the Cisco Firewall Router
(Q13708-08)

, if necessary.

If the location has a Linksys RV042 Router that is being used for the third-party router,
refer to

MDE-4866 Passport Firewall Router Start-up and Service Manual

as necessary.

To perform the same setup for any other router, you must follow the manufacturer’s
documentation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Apply power to the Cisco RV042 Router.

Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the router for 30 seconds.
