LDAP directory
If your corporate network provides a directory via an LDAP server, you can access this on
your phone (LDAP = Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). You can set up the function
on this screen. You will need information about the configuration of the LDAP server to
do this.

Enter a name in the
Name of directory
field. This is the name under which the direc-
tory will be displayed on your device (

).

Enter all the data for your LDAP server and the directory:

LDAP lookup for incoming calls
if a search should be made for a caller
in the LDAP directory instead of in the local directory.
Saving settings

to save your settings on this screen.
LDAP Name Filter
LDAP Number Filter
LDAP filters can be used to specify criteria for searches for
specific objects in the directory, e.g., all users whose first
name starts with "A" or all users whose post code begins
with a specific number and who have not set the display
name attribute etc.
LDAP Name Attributes
Defines which information should be delivered as the
search result for the search by name, e.g., surname only, sur-
name and first name etc.
LDAP Number Attributes
Defines which information should be delivered as the
search result for the search by number, e.g., fixed line net-
work number only, mobile phone number and IP phone
number etc.
LDAP Display Name
Format for displaying names.
Server Address
IP address for the LDAP server in your network.
Server Port
Port number that is used to provide the LDAP service. The
default setting is 389
LDAP Search Base
Range in the hierarchical LDAP database where the search
begins. All areas have defined designations.
Username
Access ID for the LDAP server.
Password
Password for the access ID to the LDAP server.
Max. Hits
Maximum number of search results to be displayed. The
default setting is 50
