Charge and Monitor the Battery
AUR720
has an internal, lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
Charge the battery.
Connect
AUR720
to a power outlet using the included cable and USB power adapter.
You can also charge the battery by connecting
AUR720
to your computer.
The battery status icon in the upper-right corner shows the battery level or charging status. To display the
battery level in percentage, go to

After the reader is fully charged, the
Battery operating time may be shortened over time depending on usage conditions and surrounding
temperature.
Battery power is consumed whenever the reader is off the charger, even when the reader is not in use.
Hence the longer you leave the reader off the charger, the less time you may actually using the reader.
If
AUR720
is very low on power (battery level down to 5%), it will flash the battery status icon, indicating
that
AUR720
needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it. If
AUR720
is extremely low on
power (battery level down to 0%), it will automatically turns off. At this moment you cannot turn it on until
charging the battery.
Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced.
The
AUR720
battery isn’t user replaceable; you need to contact the distributor for replacing the battery.
